Travel Pakistan - Abbottabad

When the week hits the end, it gets bored aside of laundry, exhaustive cleaning, shelving the grocery for the upcoming week, and a fulfilling Sunday breakfast.
Thus indeterminately, we scheduled a tight end head-out to the hills of Abbottabad.
The trip was short and embraced over good 32 hours, started at 4 am Saturday and came to end at 11:30 am Sunday.
We took a backpack for the tour, gulped it with one extra piece of shirt and trousers for every member, a pack of diapers, tooth brushes, toiletries and over the top lays and cookies.
We took the motorway M2 and headed in the direction of Abbottabad, M2 motorway is weaved on several loops and lanes branching into many small and big cities. The ones whose directional boards came in our way were Sheikhupura, Pindibhattian, Faislabad, Bhera, Khewra, Kalarkahaar and a few more which I missed during sudden sleep over. The M2 passes close to many lakes and Rivers, though they just teased us by staying out of reach.
Continuing the itinerary’s day, we reached the city of mountains by 12 pm, weather was pleasantly beautiful and we checked into our room hurriedly. And get to freshen up.
One hour later, we resigned ourselves to the road again, searching for hiking and recreational place, after a drive of 12 minutes, a hiking opportunity presented itself and the cherry on top was the gushing water descending through slopes.
The spot name was Harnoi Lake; it was an icy flowing water with lush green hills all around.
There we experienced how it feels heavenly (alhamdulillah), we made to the glacial, freezing cold water and seated ourselves on the chaarpai (a desi bed) laid into the flowing water. It was indeed very relaxing to have your half selves into it.
I soon regretted my optimism, when a guy told us the menu which included the charges of chaarpai too, this was the first of its kind for us.

Anyways, we had the karahi(a desi lunch) and a play-in-water time there, afterwards we head back, and settled for a nap.
Around 6 pm, we woke back and rewarded us the tea from the hotel, lately we walked down the road, visited the local bazaar, sighted the pathans cheering in local language, the dry fruits and chiffon(a soft cloth) stand out in Abbottabad consumer market convincingly.
As the night fell, the stars lined up in sky and it was a view worth looking at.
We gazed over and over again till our kids messed it up for a reason like a small disagreement or falling off by bumping into each.
We dinned at Pizza Hut, Abbottabad.Later we went to the hotel and dozed off considering the long travel ahead next morning.
Hence, we enjoyed every out and about accept the patties from Rahat at Kalakahar(they were one pathetic creature on earth). Less fuel pumps on M2, and heavy toll charged on every city outline. We paid like 2500 in tolls only.
The super best part was the rain on way back to Lahore, the whole M2 road was drenched by it and weather was cold and pleasing. Another good fact, there are eateries at every stop and toll plaza, we made our stop at Bhera, there were multiple franchises like KFC, MC, Dunkin Donuts, Pizza Hut and many more.
We got home by 11 and preferred to go to bed hastily.JzkA
A lot more details are not added to this blog like tantrums thrown by kids, unannounced mood swings, long yawns, fuel searching and a one to one episode of fight owing to fatigue.
