Trip to Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Bangkok, Thailand
By far, I was typing down the places engrossed in Pakistan, though beside the cover much in the memory lane to be unleashed.
This intricate experience not only sculpted the inner me for travelling, but it concurrently moulded my life from ordinary to purposeful.
Going back to the time, when the news broke with us through an email that my consort had to travel all the way down the globe for acquiring a task decided in an online evaluation, at the instance it felt like a surprise.
It was not as plain as it sounds, yet fairly tangled. Before we landed onto the bottommost of the world, we had a list of errands to run.
Our IELTS, medical and visas were formally done with the kiwi authorities. Once all looks good, the wait was the longest to muddle through. That resigned us to wait for around 4 months, eventually it ended and we had our bags on-board, the air line which we chose to zoom at was Thai Air International.
Once buckled with seat belt, we had 6 hours to airborne, as Thailand was our stopover. It was my first international flying attempt, being the case of travelling sickness, I did not have a pleasant one.
Once the plane set the aerial to Thailand, everyone seemed cosy and started at the screens the seats were equipped with.
Hour later, the attendant plated up the halal meal on our tray tables, the taste was somewhere between Indian and Thai.
Meanwhile, as we were going fine on food, a disgusting odorous air inhaled into our nostrils, Allah knows what chemicals did they manipulate to produce such pungent food, proving to the situation that you are on an international flight, and passengers varied from Thai, Chinese, British to Pakistanis, so food was naturally meant to be from multiple kitchenettes.
Hence the smell of food that others were served with didn’t blend in well with my lungs and I had a spell of throw up.
Honestly that moment, I prayed over and over for the dinner to end soon.
Honestly that moment, I prayed over and over for the dinner to end soon.
Fortunately, I was heard and it came to closure.
As the journey was stretched over 6 hours, we held on to the patience, till we touched the Thai ground.

Our plane landed at the Suvarnabhumi International Airport, Bangkok, it was 7 am there.
Before the pilot made it to runway, I catch the overview of the Bangkok from the plane.
It looked an awesome place; I was able to sight the canals networked clearly, shined cycling tracks, organised traffic, Temples, and it was loaded with green everywhere.
Bangkok is world’s top tourist destination. Losing yourself there once, will worth it.
We rushed to the hotel room immediately after getting over with transit check.
